Felicia Slaton-Young
Executive Director

Felicia Slaton-Young is the founder and owner of Belle Lucre, LLC, a financial advisory firm based in Chicago, Illinois. She has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and more than 15 years as a financial advisor. She holds a BA in Business and an MBA from Webster University. Felicia Slaton-Young is a founding member and Executive Director of the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce and GE Chamber Foundation, two organizations with a mission to transform Greater Englewood into a popular commercial and retail destination by advising, developing, and showcasing its established businesses and acting as a comprehensive economic development partner.

Felicia is currently a board member of St. Bernard Hospital and Health Care Centers’ mission calls us to care for the sick and promote the health of the residents in the community while witnessing the Christian values of respect, dignity, caring, and compassion for all persons. Relationships are key and Felicia believes building and developing strong have allowed her to grow and sustain her business and build lasting relationships between businesses and community.

JORDAN BESTER

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Jordan Bester is a business growth expert with a passion for helping creators and first-time entrepreneurs monetize their businesses. As the Program Director at the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce, Jordan advises, develops, and showcases brands through marketing, branding, and business strategy.

With a degree in Business Management and Accounting from Roosevelt University, Jordan founded the agency Wagu Studios to help businesses grow through strategic marketing campaigns. He has a keen understanding of the challenges faced by first-time entrepreneurs and is dedicated to helping them succeed.
 

In addition to his work with the Chamber of Commerce and Wagu Studios, Jordan writes a bi-weekly publication called Supply the Creators. Through Supply the Creators, Jordan shares insights, interviews, and the future to help creators and first-time entrepreneurs navigate the complex world of business and technology. 

Jordan firmly believes that with the right mindset and approach, anyone can achieve their goals and build a successful business. He is committed to providing creators and first-time entrepreneurs with the tools, knowledge, and guidance they need to achieve their dreams.

RACHAEL TURNER

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Rachael Nicole Turner is a brand designer and strategist with nine years of experience producing advertising for hundreds of businesses. Through website creation and design, business planning, and digital media strategy, Rachael helps leaders showcase their power in the business and philanthropic world.  Rachael has consistently exhibited an exceptional way of thinking. Her inquiring mind has been the motivating force to pursue roles, shaping new media, spaces, channels, environments, and emerging markets. 

​

Vision obsessed and design-savvy, Rachael envisions designs, campaigns, and strategies quickly in her mind and runs multiple variables before manifesting them in real-time. Her superpower is understanding the back and front end of platforms and systems and developing an aesthetic that embraces the brand. Her specialty is developing and cultivating brands of socially conscious entrepreneurs. She prides herself on creating clean designs with impactful details.
